7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents and uses terms as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended.

Sharing for advertising purposes: We share the following categories of personal information with third-party ad networks (Meta, TikTok, Google, and similar platforms) for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising: personal identifiers, internet activity, and commercial information. This allows us to show you more relevant ads. Under California law, this counts as "sharing," even though no money changes hands.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Your CCPA rights:

  • Right to Know — request the specific pieces and categories of personal information we've collected
  • Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
  • Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing — opt out of the sharing described above at any time via email
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not charge you a different price or provide a different level of service for exercising these rights

Opt-out preference signals: If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will honor it as a valid opt-out request for your browser.

Authorized agents: A California resident may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on their behalf. We'll verify both the agent's authorization and your identity before fulfilling the request.

Verification: Before fulfilling access, correction, or deletion requests, we'll take reasonable steps to verify your identity, typically by confirming information we already have on file for your account.

8. Notice of Financial Incentive (Email & SMS Signup Discount)

When you sign up for email or SMS marketing, we offer a discount on your first purchase in exchange for your contact information and marketing consent. Specifically:

  • We collect your email address and/or mobile phone number, along with your consent to receive marketing messages
  • In exchange, you receive a discount code for your first purchase
  • Consent to receive marketing is not required to make a purchase
  • You may unsubscribe or opt out at any time (unsubscribe link in emails, reply STOP to texts), without affecting your ability to shop with us

No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share phone numbers and SMS consent status only with vendors who help us send the messages themselves, solely for that purpose.

10. Children's Privacy
