✨ Formely "Fresh Citrus Burst." Same organic botanicals, same grass-fed suet tallow, now with organic jojoba oil.

Citrus is made with 100% grass-fed and finished suet tallow, organic jojoba oil, and five organic citrus oils (lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, and bergamot).

Your skin's outermost layer is built from lipids, and tallow is one of the closest natural matches to them. That means Fresh Citrus Burst doesn't just add moisture, it strengthens your skin's own barrier to keep it there.

The citrus blend delivers a natural dose of vitamin C and antioxidants that help brighten dull skin, even out tone, and protect against environmental damage. Face, hands, body — anywhere your skin needs it.

Key Ingredients ⬇️

100% grass-fed & finished suet beef tallow

The foundation of everything we make. Our 100% grass-fed & finished, suet fat is the most nutrient-dense form of tallow.

Organic Jojoba Oil

A lightweight oil rich in vitamin E that closely resembles your skin’s natural oils, so it absorbs easily and helps protect skin from moisture loss.

Organic Lemon Oil

A natural exfoliant that helps clarify the skin, even out tone, and gently lift away dullness, leaving skin looking fresh and awake.

Organic Lime Oil

Rich in antioxidants, to help tighten and firm the skin while adding a bright, energizing scent.

How To Use Citrus

  1. Cleanse

Apply to clean, damp skin, right after washing while your skin still has moisture on it. Our tallow seals that water into your skin rather than just sitting on top.

  2. Scoop

Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press gently into your face, hands, or anywhere your skin needs repair. A little goes a long way.

  3. Apply

Use once or twice daily, on its own or as the final step in your skincare routine to lock everything in.

Allow 1-2 weeks for your skin to adjust, especially if you're transitioning from conventional moisturizers. Tallow works with your skin's biology, not against it, so give your barrier time to recalibrate.

FAQs

This is the final step in your routine (after your cleanser, mist, serum, or other products). It creates a natural barrier that locks everything in and keeps moisture from escaping.

  • In the morning: Cleanse, apply your toners and serums, then press a small amount of Citrus into damp skin. It absorbs quickly and layers well under makeup.
  • At night: Follow your full routine and finish with Citrus to seal it all in while your skin repairs overnight.

They use the same ingredients — the difference is texture and how your skin wears them. The whipped is light and fluffy, absorbs quickly, and works well for everyday use, under makeup, or if you have oilier skin. The balm is smoother and more concentrated. It's deeply protective and ideal for very dry areas, nighttime use, or body application. A lot of our customers use the whipped in the morning and the balm at night to get the best of both.

Not all tallow is the same. Suet is the fat that surrounds the kidneys and organs, and it has a higher concentration of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K and a richer nutrient profile than fat rendered from other parts of the animal. It's also the closest match to the lipids in human skin, which is why it absorbs so well and supports your skin's natural barrier.

Bright and clean, like fresh cut fruit. The lemon and grapefruit come through first, with orange and bergamot rounding it out. It's energizing and fresh, without being overpowering.

Yes. Fresh Citrus Burst has only seven ingredients, all organic or naturally derived, with no synthetic fragrances, preservatives, or fillers. Tallow is one of the most biocompatible fats you can put on your skin because its fatty acid structure is so similar to your own. That said, we always recommend a small patch test if you have reactive skin — apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours.

We always recommend consulting your doctor before adding any new skincare product during pregnancy. The citrus oils in Fresh Citrus Burst are generally considered safe for topical use during pregnancy, and none of the ingredients in this blend are known hormone disruptors. If you're pregnant or nursing and want the benefits of tallow, our Pure blend is made with just two ingredients, and is 100% safe for you and baby!
