At the end of December and beginning of January, I started struggling with some cystic acne around my forehead, jawline, chin, and neck. I have always been prone to acne on my face, but these were painful and larger than normal acne I have had in the past. I was trying CeraVé face wash and Cetaphil moisturizer in hopes that that would help my sensitive skin, but nothing was helping. I was also using an acne spot treatment on my face, but new spots would arise just when another one would go away. I was linking it to possibly hormonal acne because that is what my research led me to since I was going to turn 30 in May. My OBGYN even put me on a 10 day round of doxycycline to see if that would clear it up. I honestly didn’t see a huge result after the 10 days was up which was really disappointing! After four months of dealing with this issue, I had to do something different! My research eventually led me to reading a similar story to mine from an Instagram post and how this person began using beef tallow on her face! At first, I figured it was going to be too oily and break me out worse, but I decided to look for a family-owned company that made this product. I searched “beef tallow acne” in Instagram, and low and behold, I found tons of pages and posts that shared stories of the wonderful benefits of rendered beef tallow; I was sold!! I found Pure Good company and fell in love with the story of how the company started and the fact that the tallow was from grass-fed/grass-finished beef. I purchased the pure whipped tallow balm and began using it day and night! I cut out all other face washes and moisturizers. Within a month, I was starting to see progress and less acne!! I was shocked! My completion also looked great! It wasn’t too thick on my face like I expected, and the smell was natural, but not too “beefy” if that makes sense. It is now July 3rd, and I don’t have a single cyst on my face and haven’t since I started using this product. I can’t share how blessed and thankful I am for this natural and healthy product for my skin!! I am so confident and happy with my face now.
